More Than A Race

The North Meck Rescue 7k and Fun Run is more than another Saturday fitness event. The proceeds raised by this event will be used by the North Mecklenburg Volunteer Rescue Squad to purchase lifesaving equipment and engage in rescue and EMS training that will save lives. Every year the squad responds to over 2100 emergencies in the Huntersville and northern Mecklenburg county, including cardiac arrests, car accidents, traumatic injuries, chest pains and difficulty breathing. The life you help save with your participation and contribution may be your neighbors, or even yours!

• North Meck Rescue 7k Race (timed and USATF certified # NC-09069-PH)
  Timed Race through The Park - Huntersville
  This event is an opportunity for runners of all levels to push it to the limit. Slightly longer than a 5k and faster than a 10K, this 4.35 mile course follows paved streets through one of Huntersville's better known business areas. Picturesque, yet challenging, this course offers it all for athletes of all skill levels. Handicapped athletes welcome! Course Map

  Can't leave the kids out!
  This dash will be fun for all ages of children. Two laps around the loop near the celebration site keeps the kids safely in sight at all times, yet lets them get a piece of the competition!
